Scout Programs

Are you looking for a new and creative way to earn scout badges? Let the Greenville zoo lead your scouts on new adventures!

Programs are available for boy scouts and girls scout of all levels and ages.

Available Options:

Option 1: "Who's Who in the Zoo" A 45 - 60 minute program that gives a general background on zoos and animal husbandry. Program includes live animals for students to touch and interact with in the classroom. Program can accommodate 30 people. We ask that younger siblings enjoy the zoo while scouts are in class. Programs are offered Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Program fee: $45 (this does not include admission)

Option 2: Personalized Program A 45 - 60 minute program that can be formatted to a topic or badge. Simply send over your badge requirements along with the ages of the scouts and we will do the rest. Program includes live animals for students to touch and interact with in the classroom. Program can accommodate 30 people. We ask that younger siblings enjoy the zoo while scouts are in class. Programs are offered Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Program fee: $45 - $60 (this does not include admission)

Option 3: Personalized Evening Program Option 2 is available on the evenings from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Program fee: $90

Option 4: Overnights at the Zoo Pack your bags! The Greenville zoo also does overnights! See if you can handle the roars and snores of the zoo after dark.

Option 5: Private Hike 
Enjoy Cleveland Park as zoo staff leads your group on an hour and a half tour on the nature trails. Hikes can accommodate 30 individuals as they look for wildlife and point out native plant life. Program fee: $90
