Ozrick greets visitors to the farmyard at the Greenville Zoo.

The Vietnamese Pot-Bellied Pig has become so popular that there are now more pot-bellied pigs in the United States than anywhere else in the world, even though the only started to be imported from Asia in 1985! These pigs are docile creatures and have a life span of 12-15 years. However, there have been instances where the pigs have lived for close to 20 years.

Fun Facts:

  • Ozrick is the resident Pot-bellied pig at the Greenville Zoo.
  • His favorite food is bananas.
  • Ozrick enjoys being scratched by his keepers.
