Zoo Tots classes are designed to help children to explore and engage with the natural world. Classes combine an "on your own" exploratory play time featuring crafts, sensory bins and educational stations with a structured circle time and an animal encounter.

Prices:

Member Price: $10 per class
Non-Member Price: $22 per class 

Know Before You Go!

Please note that Zoo Tots is designed for one parent and one toddler. There is a $5 fee for extra adults and that can be paid on the day of the program. However, it must be approved by the instructor at least 24 hours before the program. 

Please dress students in weather appropriate attire with close-toed shoes. Classes will only be cancelled if the zoo is required to close to the public.

October 7th & 8th - Snaking Through South America

There are nearly 4,000 species of snakes in South America! How many can we find in the zoo? Slither on over to find out!

November 4th & 5th - Moseying Through the Mountains

There are a lot of animals who live in the mountains. Some have thick fur, and some have no fur at all. Mosey on over to meet a few mountain animals, make a mountainous craft, and practice moving like a mountain goat.

December 2nd & 3rd - Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland

The holidays are here, and the zoo animals are ready to celebrate! Walk on over and see how the animals celebrate during this festive time of year.

January 6th & 7th - Trekking Through the Tundra'

How do animals stay warm in the world’s coldest places? Trek on in for games, crafts, animal encounters, and science experiments to discover more about these tough critters.

February 27th & 28th - Dancing Through the Desert

Put away your coats, grab your sunscreen, and dance on over to learn all about life in the world’s deserts! 

March 3rd & 4th - Jumping Through the Jungle

Jungles are home to millions of animals around the globe. Some of these animals have beautiful colors and some blend in with all their might. Jump on in to discover who can survive in this wild home.

April 7th & 8th - Ambling Around Africa

Giraffes, lions, gorillas, snakes, and parrots. These animals are all so different, but they live in the same place. Amble on over to discover more about the amazing continent of Africa.

May 5th & 6th - Bopping Around the Backyard

Your backyard is full of amazing animals! How many can you find? Bop on in to make crafts, play games, and discover where to find some of the amazing animals living in your own backyard!
