Would you like more information about the lions, the alligators or another one of our residents? Docents will be on hand in front of select exhibits throughout the zoo every Tuesday, September through May. Join us during these displayed times to speak with our knowledgeable staff about our animal ambassadors.

Wiggle on over to the zoo with your little book worm!  On Wednesdays, September through May, the education department will celebrate reading with a new book and animal friend. Join us during this free program near the Farmyard Exhibit at the Greenville Zoo for a reading of a children’s book then a live animal presentation.

Would you like to get close to a snake? How about a box turtle? Maybe you would like to touch the teeth on a lion skull? Have you ever wondered what alligator skin feels like? Who knows what you might see!
