Ocelots are found in Central and South America and have recently been observed in southern Arizona and in southern Texas. They live in rain forests, thick bush, semi-deserts, coastal marsh and along river banks.
Fun Facts
The Greenville Zoo is home to two ocelots, Oz and Evita.
The ocelot is considered a good swimmer.
Their favorite enrichment activity is Minnow Madness (catching minnows in a small pond of water).
Their favorite food is mice!
