How Greenville Zoo is Taking Action

Conservation Lectures

The Greenville Zoo is proud to partner with Furman University for our annual conservation lecture series, funded through The Greenville Zoo Conservation Fund and Furman University's Environmental Action Group student organization and Biology Department.

Conservation Education through Citizen Science

Citizen science is where the public volunteers time to assist scientists in their research. Citizen scientists can support professional researchers in a lot of ways – by submitting data, sharing experiences or spreading valuable information. Scientists benefit from having a lot more data to analyze and a pool of volunteers willing to help.

Quarters for Conservation

Quarters for Conservation is an exciting initiative to greatly enhance the Greenville Zoo's wildlife conservation efforts.
