Guests were able to meet ambassador animals from the Eastern Screech Owl to Prehensile Tailed Skinks. Cocktail hour and dinner featured live music before participating in a silent auction. All proceeds raised from the event will go towards the zoo’s efforts to build a Giraffe feeding deck. This feeding platform will foster connections between visitors and the endangered Masai giraffe; sparking conservation efforts of generations to come.

This month’s Zoo Keeping Kids theme was ‘Conservation Nation.’ Zoo Keeping Kids is a monthly family program for 3rd through 5th graders. Students created toad abodes, learned how zoos make an effect on animals in the wild, and developed future fundraising ideas to help our most critically endangered species.
