Primate Row Renovation

Construction Set to Begin on Primate Row

Construction will begin next week on dens for the Greenville Zoo’s primate exhibit, which houses four primate species: colobus monkey, lemur, spider monkey and guenon. The new dens will provide almost 1,000 cubic feet of additional space for the animals. They will also feature large windows to provide natural light and allow guests to observe and learn about the primates when they are off exhibit.

For guests’ safety, the area will be closed during construction, but our spider monkey, Selma, and her fellow residents look forward to seeing you when the renovation is complete!

Sponsorships and naming opportunities are available. Please contact the Greenville Zoo Foundation at info@greenvillezoofoundation.org to learn how you can support this project.

Virtual Zoo Camp

Virtual Zoo Camp

While we have made the difficult decision to suspend our on-site summer camps this year, campers from around the country are invited to join us for our new week-long VIRTUAL Zoo Camp, which includes daily animal encounters, zoo tours and behind-the-scenes looks, crafts, games and experiments! Half-day and full-day options are available.

The Zoomobile will deliver camp kits to all registered campers within a 30-mile radius of the Greenville Zoo. Registered campers who don’t live nearby will receive their camp kit in the mail at no extra charge.

Don’t wait! Register today at https://store.greenvillezoo.com/#/Education.
