Boo in the Zoo

Boo in the Zoo 2020

Tickets are now on sale for Boo in the Zoo, the Greenville Zoo’s signature Halloween event. The family-friendly event is scheduled to take place on select days from October 15 – November 1 and will be modified with enhanced health and safety measures, including limited capacity and date-specific, timed entries to ensure a safe Halloween event.

This year’s Boo in the Zoo will feature 15 trick-or-treat stations, spooky decorations and Halloween-themed areas, including Dragon Alley, a princess castle and an extinct species graveyard. Attendees are asked to bring reusable Halloween bags for trick-or-treating.

With safety being a priority, the zoo has added hand-sanitizing stations for guests and signage that outlines best social distancing practices. The zoo will also limit gatherings at entrances, exits, exhibits and along pathways. All guests over the age of 2 are required to wear face coverings while at the zoo.

Boo in the Zoo will take place October 15-18, 22-25, 29-31 and November 1. Event hours are 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is $9 for members trick-or-treating, free for members not trick-or-treating, $12 for non-members trick-or-treating and $10 for non-members not trick-or-treating. Admission for Boo Babies (age 0-2) not trick-or-treating is free. Children must be accompanied by an adult and everyone is invited (but not required) to come in costume. Tickets purchased online are the best way to guarantee admission. To reserve tickets, visit the Boo in the Zoo website.
