39. The Greenville Zoo is a 14-acre facility featuring hundreds of wildlife from all over the world including giraffe, monkeys, giant tortoises and lions. Through engaging programs, educational evens and animal exhibits, the Greenville Zoo provides a wonderfully wild experience for the entire family that will keep you coming back all year long!

    
    

    The Greenville Zoo is open 7 days a week, except on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Day and the first 2 weeks of February for annual maintenance. The zoo’s hours of operation are from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the gates close at 5 p.m.

    
    

    The Greenville Zoo is operated by the City of Greenville and accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA).
